  • 1940: Represented Taiwan with the Chang Jung Middle School soccer team, traveling to Japan to compete in the 22nd All-Japan Secondary School Football Championship as a sophomore (Historical Record).
  • c. 1947: Handcrafted leather rugby balls with fellow Chang Jung alumni, pioneering rugby football in post-war Southern Taiwan amidst equipment shortages (Historical Record).
  • 1948: Selected for the Taiwan national delegation in track and field at the 7th National Games in Shanghai (Historical Record).
  • 1949: Dual-sport athlete in both Men's Track & Field and Men's Soccer for Tainan City at the 4th Taiwan Provincial Games (Historical Record).
